More ionic foot bath questions and answers

These are more advanced questions which you may have had problem getting answer to elsewhere. For more basic questions see ionic foot bath questions and answers. If you have any remaining questions about ionic foot baths you can contact me using this form.

How do ion foot baths work actually?

There are no two ionic foot spas that operate perfectly the same way. Some models, for example, send a small electrical current through the body. Such microcurrents are either used for therapeutic reasons, to electrically stimulate the tissues and meridians, or as in other models, out of mere necessity, to produce enough of a voltage for water ionization.

Water ionization is common in all ionic foot bath machines; all models generate negatively and positively charged ions by electrically decomposing water molecules.

These ions then are partly taken in by the body to be stored in the large energy reservoir at the lower abdomen. The majority of them, however, remain in the foot bath and exert a pull on the mostly positive toxin particles within the body. This electro-osmotic pull is believed to be, at least partially, responsible for the detoxification effect of ionic detox foot baths.

Additionally, the electromagnetic field that builds up around the device starts to interact with the biofield of the body in a way that not fully understood, but apparently beneficial. It must be a rather nonspecific interaction that involves the reflex zones on the soles and the large leg meridians as contact points for field propagation.

The EM-fields of the body and the field around the salty water fuse into a common field. Not just all organs get stimulated through the reflex points on the soles but harmful energetic patterns will also be released and stored in the water.

Can I drink the water from the foot bath?

No. Don’t share, drink, store or reuse this water in any way. Don’t have it around your body and don’t water your poor plants with it. Just flush it down the toilet and the Earth will take care of the rest.

I feel tired and sleepy after treatment. Can you explain why?

It could be due to 3 reasons.

1. You are in the early stage of the ionic detox foot bath treatment and your energy body is undeveloped. This is normal for most people. The tiredness occurs when a larger than usual volume of energy is forced through your system yet the conduits are not prepared for the load. The energy spend to repair the blockades is what makes you tired and sleepy.

The whole foot ionization process gently forces your body to deal with these blockages. It creates an energy rich environment then stimulates the energy exchange ports on the soles of your feet.

It’s really the same issue you may be dealing with when you experience weird leg sensations or even pain during your first treatments. Again, it’s a good sign that tells you that the energy blockades present in your body are now being taken care of.

If this is the case, the tiredness will go away after a couple of treatments and you will feel lighter, calmer and more composed. And these sensations will last for ever.

2. You use the ionic foot spa at the wrong time. This technology strongly affects that part of your being that controls the sleep-wake cycle. If you happen to use it at the wrong/right phase of your cycle (depending on your purpose), it can make you very alert or caught in the other phase of the cycle, making you sluggish and sleepy.

It’s up to you when you use it, but you should be aware of this. It will require some experimentation from your part to set yourself up. If you have a stable sleep schedule and waking rhythm you can reinforce it. If you lack of these qualities, the ionic foot bath can help you establishing them.

3. Too much of a good thing can hurt you and tiredness can be the result of overusing the ion foot spa. You may have lost too much fluid and salts from your body. Or your body is just simply overstimulated and thrown out of balance. Please read the instructions on usage frequency and, as always, listen to your body.

Whichever of the above scenario applies to you, extreme responses should fade away with each new session and your body gets accustomed to the regular use of ionic foot baths.
